It looks like there is a couple of perspectives on this one! While most agree that the quote is from Rebecca West, others are attributing it to Gloria Stein. And others still swear it’s from Daria, but can’t find an exact Episode reference. Haha, drama! Of course it’s possible that Daria was just quoting Rebecca West. If anyone can find the exact episode reference, feel free to drop it in the askbox.
